purple haze - read all three and I absolutely loved each one of them though I the women a little winny. But by far my favorite character s definitely C.I. Syn. Actually Dagmar, that's exactly how I pictured him ( occasionally even lying next to me in bed showing me why his named is Syn). |

Akra_Dani - Started reading BON a week ago and I loved it! I couldn't stop so I read BOF right after I was done. I finished this morning. I had to read Born of Ice... I read that book today. I am so addicted to the League now. |

Have to say I just recently finished reading all of the Dark-Hunter series, The Were-Hunter Series and the Dream-Hunter Series so when I started reading reading Born of Night I wasnt sure if I was going to like it, but I read on and on and on and absolutely loved it!!!! limlisiok - Thanks, everyone for your input. I guess maybe Aros is emperor of some other empire. The Andarions do not seem very tolerant of humans let alone allow one to be their emperor. Come on, Andarions eat humans...!! Nykyrian was just unlucky to get features from both parents. |

Tammy Kennedy - No, Cori, Carie is full blooded andarion, and aros is human. Julian and Nyk were both half & half- julien just looked full andarion. Nobody has answered the question of why Nyk's dad was emperor of Andaraia when he's human... wish sherri would wiegh in on this. |

Cori - CeeVeeDee, give it some time. I know I had a hard time getting into it when I first started reading it, but after reading it, I couldn't put it down. Makes me wish I had a copy of the original version so that I could compare to. Anyone have an extra copy that they could send me, by any chance? All I can say is that I balled like a baby several times throughout the novel, and I wanted to slap Keifer for acting like an idiot! And I balled like a baby at the end of the book when Syn came into the hospital. One thing I am curious about, though. Carie had an affair an Andarion, I would assume. Or was she Andarion? And if that is the case, if Nykyrian and Jullien are twins, how is it that Jullien was full Andarion and Nyk was a hybrid? But besides that, the last couple of days I have been doing almost nothing but reading it non-stop to finish, and I bought Syn's today and can't wait to read it! I am glad to see that Sherri reissued these the way SHE wanted them published! |

Dolls - Not too sure why Nykirian is Andarian heir seeing that his mom is the consort (the impression I get from BON), dad must be Royalty from somewhere unless the whole relationship is the other way? I wonder if SK will expand and write more from this series :D |

Tammy Kennedy - Just finished BON and fire and ice... 2 or 3 ?'s. Where is Aros the emperor of, and why did Nyk's mom have to 'give him up?' If he's human he shouldn't be emperor of Andirion, right? I'm surprised Cari got away with having a fling with ahuman, but whatever. Also, in fire & ice, why is Zarista's eye's pure andirion whne she should onl be 1/4 andirion? Maybe that was someything shrri fixed in the new addition- i read the old version. |

limlisiok - Just finished BON this weekend. I got a little confused with the genealogy. Is Emperor Aros Nykyrian's birth father? Is Aros human? And if so, which empire is he emperor of? Andarion? Does Jullien share the same birth parents as Nykyrian? I loved the book. Thanks. |

Atalanta - Godiva, what is a real pisser is the difference between Kiara in the first edition and the current edition. In the original, Sherri said that the editor thought Kiara was too "masculine" or something, so she was very weak, pitiful, and to me, very annoying. In *this* version, Kiara is a *much* stronger character, far more independant, and as a result, far more likable and relatable. That is, to me, the most profound difference. Which is why, even though I loved Born of Night, I hadn't liked it as much as her DH series. Now, with the reissue and the rewrites where Kiara is a heroine who can stand beside Nykyrian rather than behind him, I really, really love it. I'll still keep my old copy of the first Born of Night out of sentimental reasons, but I love the new version a thousand times more. |

Copenana - I totally agree with Atalanta. I have the original too and the new update version is whole much better thab the old one. I can't wait for Syn's book either. My birthday is coming up next month. I wondered if I will get it. I didn't check. When in Vovember is it suppose to be out? That will let me know I personally should get it or I let someone get it for me on my birthday. |

Atalanta - This book is waaaaaay better than the first issue. Sherri was right and her publisher was wrong--this is the way it *should have* been published. I'm glad Sherri got to reissue the series and write it the way she'd originally planned. Angel, I don't think this book will disappoint you--on the contrary, I think it will totally blow your mind!! I know it did for me! |

Daciana - This book was totally awesome! I loved every moment of it! .. This might be kind of a spoiler if I go ahead with my question, Im not sure ... but in the end of the book it says that Syn and Shahara show up together at the hospital when Nykyrian is in surgery, but the next book, the excerpt says that she is going after Syn for kidnapping Kiara? So do you think the books overlap? Maybe its not a spoiler really but it is my guess that the time periods overlap and that book 2 is Syn's story on how he and Shahara came to be together from the tme he disappeared in BoN .. in either case, I absolutely LOOOVED this first book and cant wait to get my hands on the rest of them, including the short story that is coming out in the future. I think I heard something about a special release that has Winterborn, Fire & Ice and one other story in it. |
