| 10 Things to Know About Me: |
01.) I am the proud mother of three blue-eyed boys. The oldest dangerously edging close to the teen stage of life. The middle being my adventurous and classified as ADHD. Their ages range from 11/12 (June), 9 (newly turned in April) and 5. They grow up so dangerously quick!
02.) Pagan! And proud to be one at that. I'm really interested in the spiritual. The Goddess I feel affinity for is The Morrigan!
03.) I like to collect dragon items. For example: clocks, daggers, pictures, knick-knacks, etc
04.) Another of my obsession/interests (with the exception of dragons and Dev Peltier) is drows aka dark-elves. R.A. Salvatore and Elaine Cunningham (DnD/Wizards of the Coast, Forgotten Realms) is completely to blame. My friend RJ claims I am a drow geek since I know just about all I can absorb about them. I love the core books but sadly I do not play DnD due to the lack of people in my area.
05.) Virgo, Scorpio rising. The Year of the Red Dragon (Rawrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr), and Ivy (Celtic Zodiac)
06.) Proud momma/owner of two dachshunds. The oldest is a black and red male toy dachsund named Warlock (Warwar for short). The youngest just turned on in April, and she is Warlock's natural half sister (same daddy). She is a medium haired auburn miniature female. Her name is Cynder
07.) One of my favorite pasttime is to write stories. Not necessarily good stories but I really have no interest or desire to be published. Mainly I write for my own and certain friend's enjoyment, doing backstories on our role playing characters. I have several Works in Progresses from druids and elves, to a paranormalish storylines.
08.) Another past time of mine is drawing whenever the mood, fancy, and inspiration knocks me aside the ehad. Drawing use to be an escape mechanism from daily stress and well lack of self-confidence caused me to stop. I have some wonderful artfriends who tend to help me out..and one I turned into a dark-hunter holic (the one who has been doing the dark hunter comics)
09.) Yet another past-time of mine is role playing with two friends of mine with OUR original characters. We started out in AOL chat-rooms, slowly we progressed in just IMs (YIM or AIM) and every now and then in a yahoo group that we created just for that. We never try to roll play an author's characters. Actually I refuse to play another's creation (unless it was created for me) because being the creator of a character, it must really grate to see people play the character wrong. I know I would. So I don't really support such role play.
10.) Anime and Manga! Yes, I am a near serious anime-holic. Really I rather watch anime than action-live movies. My manga collection is still pretty pathetic to some peeps standards. Some of my favorite mangas is You Higuri's Canterella and Seimaden. Favorite anime: Slayers, Record of Lodoss wars, Oran High school
Thanks Sherri for creating the Dark-Hunter world, and through that, meeting some awesome people who mean so much to me. Yes, many have drifted out of my life with the changes, but the ones who remain are important to me. And no, not because they built me my Build a bear Dev. |
